Cleaning: Case 2: Bleeding Gums? Simple Technique to Avoid Surgery for This Patient With Bleeding Gums
Description
How Our Conservative Approach Was Able to Avoid Surgery for This Patient With Bleeding Gums! Our patient was referred to us through another patient in the practice. She had long-suffered with bleeding gums in the front of her mouth. It bled so much, and so often, that simply speaking would cause the gums to start bleeding. As a stunning woman, she refused to smile for years or eat in front of others. If she ate a bagel, there would be blood on it where the cream cheese should have been. She feared the worst with her mouth. When we examined her, we informed her of the many approaches we could take to solve this equation. I suggested a very conservative, non-invasive approach. The end-result shows no signs of bleeding and the gums are healthy. The patient can now live life without worrying about her next social event!
